Making a Gadget Cover claim

To start your claims process you’ll need to provide a few details to Citymain - our appointed claims administrator for policies purchased before 13 December 2023.

Before you start your claim

It can take up to 10 minutes to complete the online claims form, so make sure you have enough time to finish before you begin.

Check your policy certificate to make sure that you have added Gadget Cover to your policy.

If your policy was purchased on or after 13 December 2023 please go to the Taurus claims page.

    Need to make a claim on your Travel Insurance cover?

    For any non-gadget related claims, please use the dedicated claims process for Travel Insurance.

      Have your information ready

      To start a claim you will need the following information:

      • Original trip booking invoice or itinerary to confirm your travel details.
      • Please have the serial/IMEI number of your item ready. You can find this by typing ‘*#06#’ on a mobile phone or checking inside the battery compartment or underside of your device.
      • A crime reference number (if you have one).

      What happens after I start my claim?

      We will send you an email confirming the authorisation of your claim.

      If your item needs to be repaired we’ll let you know where to send it. It’s your responsibility to send your damaged item to our repairers for repair, and meet any associated cost.

      Important: Please make sure you return your damaged item by Royal Mail Special Delivery or by a secure courier at the address supplied. Your policy does not cover any loss of the item while in transit.
