    Before you buy travel insurance or travel, remember to check the most recent advice from the local authorities and the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).       What we cover

        Before you travel

        • If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and can't travel.
        • If you can't travel because you've been contacted by the NHS Test and Trace service.
        • If you've been stopped from boarding a plane in the UK because you have COVID-19 symptoms.
        • If you were planning to stay with a family member on your trip who've been told they have to self-isolate.

        While you're away

        • If you have a medical emergency as a result of COVID-19.
        • If you're told you have to go into quarantine and can't travel home.
        • If you've got to return home early because your destination goes into lockdown.
        • If you've not travelled against FCDO or local authorities guidance and have followed medical advice, you'll be covered for medical costs and getting you home.

        What we don't cover

        • Cancellation of your trip if the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office or local authorities advise against all travel or all but essential travel.
        • If official advice changes while you are away.
        • If you decide to cancel your trip because you no longer want to travel.

              How we collect and use your personal data

              Tesco Personal Finance PLC (trading as Tesco Bank) acts as an intermediary for this policy. The policy is arranged and administered by ROCK Insurance Services Limited (ROCK) and underwritten by Inter Partner Assistance SA UK Branch (IPA UK) whose ultimate parent company is AXA Partners Holding SA. You can find out more about how ROCK will process and share your data in their Privacy Notice.

                ROCK will share some of your information with Tesco Bank as set out in their privacy notice and you can find out more about how Tesco Bank will then process that data in our Privacy Policy.

                ROCK will also share data with IPA UK so that they can underwrite your policy and if you make a claim.
