  • Total amount repayable
  • Monthly repayment
  • Representative APR
  • Loan amount
  • Length of loan
  • Annual rate of interest (nominal)

What do we mean by APR and annual rate of interest?

Your annual rate of interest is what applies to your loan only, and it is fixed to this value over the term of your personal loan.

Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is useful for comparing loan and credit offers when you borrow, and is calculated from your annual rate of interest and any additional upfront fees charged.

Before you apply for a loan

To be eligible for a loan you must:

  • be aged between 18 and 74
  • be in employment with no probationary period, or have regular income e.g. pension
  • have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
  • have a UK personal current account

The rate we will offer you is based on your loan requirements and individual circumstances. The minimum rate we offer is 2.9% APR and the maximum rate is 34.5% APR.

This loan has fixed monthly payments for the term of the loan. Please think about how your circumstances might change over the term of the loan, and if this might affect your ability to repay.

During the application you will need:

  • your current account bank sort code and account number
  • details of your regular monthly income after tax
  • your credit and store card limits, current balances and time held
  • details of any existing loan balances and monthly repayments

We use data to make you offers, provide our services to you, perform identity and eligibility checks, work out financial risk (including by credit scoring), manage debt, protect you and us against fraud and financial crime and manage and develop our business. Automated decisions may be taken to detect crime and for credit scoring.

Depending on the outcome, this could result in the refusal of certain services, finance or employment. We will supply your personal information to CRAs and they will give us information about you such as about your financial history, both at application stage and on an ongoing basis. Records of credit checks may be shared with other organisations. Any joint applicant or other financial associate must understand that their records will be searched and linked to yours.

We may use this information to tailor our communications, and to try to bring you better terms, deals or offers and this may include profiling.

Clubcard discounted rates are available on some loan amounts.
