Money transfer credit cards

These credit cards let you move money to your bank account at 0% interest for a set amount of time.

What is a money transfer credit card?

With a money transfer credit card, you can transfer funds into your bank account, usually at 0% interest for a set period of time. You could use this money to pay off an overdraft, settle an unexpected bill or in those situations where only cash will do. You’ll need to transfer the money from your card directly into your bank account and you may have to pay a fee.

          Helpful information about Credit Cards

What is a money transfer credit card?

You can use a money transfer credit card to pay cash straight into your bank account, often with an introductory rate of 0% interest (plus a fee) for a set amount of time. You can use one to spread the cost of something paid for with cash, if you just make sure you clear the card balance before the 0% period ends.

            How do balance transfers work?

A balance transfer moves credit card debt from a card that charges a higher rate of interest to one that charges a lower rate.

By making a balance transfer, you could lower the cost of credit card debts as more of your repayments will go to reducing the balance, rather than interest charges.
