It’s always there when you need it
It's simple. Your Clubcard Pay debit card is your Clubcard. So, you'll collect your Clubcard points as usual in Tesco.
Plus, for the first 3 months after opening your account, you'll receive 1 extra Clubcard point for every £1 you spend in Tesco with Clubcard Pay. That's double Clubcard points for the first 3 months.
And the rewards don't stop there - when you shop with Clubcard Pay outside of Tesco, you can collect 1 Clubcard point for every £8 you spend.
Spend your Clubcard vouchers in-store, online and with Clubcard Reward Partners.
Tesco Clubcard Pay is available to Tesco Clubcard members who are resident in the UK and aged 18 or over. Accounts are subject to status.
It’s important that you let us know if you change your mobile number and/or email address, so you can continue to get important information from us about Clubcard Pay.
We’ll usually get in touch with you by SMS, email, push notification or by in-app messaging. You’ll find account communications, including statements in the document store in our Mobile Banking App, so make sure you check there regularly.
There’s no overdraft on Clubcard Pay. But it’s possible your account balance may go below zero, for example if a retailer accepts a debit card payment from you without checking with us first to see if there’s enough money in your account.
We’ve set up an alert on your account to automatically let you know by SMS if this happens, and you must top-up your Clubcard Pay account to zero immediately. If you do not bring your Clubcard Pay account balance to zero we may take steps to suspend and ultimately close your Clubcard Pay and Round Up accounts. We’ll also let you know by SMS or email if there’s not enough money in your account to cover payments due that day.
These 2 alerts are there to help you manage your account, but you can opt out of them by calling us on 0345 835 6295*.

There are some instances where round up transactions won’t occur, such as;
Your Round Up account doesn’t come with a debit card and you can’t use your Clubcard Pay debit card to make payments from it. You can access your Round Up account within our Mobile Banking App.
This table sets out key information you should know about the account. It should be read together with the Clubcard Pay terms and conditions and forms part of our agreement with you.

The Personal Savings Allowance introduced in 2016 means we won’t deduct tax from the interest you earn, unless the law tells us we must.
You can withdraw money from your Round Up account to your Clubcard Pay account, or to another Tesco Bank account in your name, anytime using our Mobile Banking App.

For the first 3 months (100 days to be exact) after you open your Clubcard Pay account you’ll collect 2 Clubcard points for every £1 you spend using your Clubcard Pay debit card, on qualifying products in Tesco and on Tesco Fuel (excludes Esso). That’s one extra Clubcard point for every £1 you spend. After 100 days, you will go back to the Clubcard points collection rate you usually get in Tesco when using your Clubcard.
There are some products at Tesco that don’t qualify for Clubcard points, see the Tesco Clubcard website for details.
In addition to the Clubcard points collected in Tesco, you also collect 1 Clubcard point for every £8 you spend outside Tesco. Clubcard points are calculated on each Clubcard Pay debit card purchase transaction and the collection rate is subject to change.
While you can collect Clubcard points on most of your debit card transactions, there are some exclusions, which include:
