Using our Mobile Banking App for current accounts

Managing your Current Account in our Mobile App is easy. Scroll down to see how to view your account, organise payments, view statements plus tips on other ways you can manage your money in our app.

Viewing your current account in our Mobile App

Once you’ve registered for our Mobile App, you’ll be able to view your account and manage your money on the go from the home screen.

You’ll see your account details and balance displayed. To see an account summary for your current account, select the information icon next to your account name.

To view your recent transactions, just tap on the transactions icon from the ‘Account Activity’ menu.

At the bottom of the screen is your navigation to managing your account. Here you can make payments, manage payees and view any scheduled payments, statements and documents.

Have more than one account with us? You can use Online Banking to link these so that they show in the app with your current account. Log in to your current account and find Add your other Tesco Bank accounts at the bottom of the page. Enter the sort code and account number of your savings or loan account or add your credit card details and you’re all set.

Adding payees, payments and transfers

You can add a brand new payee from scratch using our app and make a payment right away.

Add their account number and sort code, choose a reference and then just let us know the amount. We’ll save this payee so you can come back at any time to make another payment, or you can just delete them if it’s a one-time thing.

Transferring between your Tesco Bank accounts is simple. Tap Make a Transfer, choose the account you want to move money to and the amount, then confirm.

Transactions

View Transactions to see all your recent payments in and out. You can use the buttons at the top of the screen to search and sort through to find something specific.

You can view your transactions in our calendar so it’s easy to see your money day-to-day or month-to-month. You’ll also see a handy summary graph at the top of the screen showing the total incoming, total outgoing and the difference in your spending.

Statements

Current Account statements

You can see all your statements and documents in our Mobile App. Open the menu at the bottom of your current account home screen and you’ll find Statements & Documents.

If you need to export a statement you can select the Share button (top right of the screen) as you view it. This shows you all the available sharing options for your device, including saving as a PDF or sending via email. Ways to share will vary depending on the software you have on your phone.

To turn off paper statements and instead only receive digital copies you can go to Settings, scroll to More and select Paperless to change the paper settings for your account.

Your regular payments

To check on your standing orders and direct debits choose Scheduled Payments from the menu at the bottom of your current account home screen.

If you need to change amounts or timings, log in to Online Banking.
