Apple Pay is a secure and easy way to pay using your Tesco Bank Debit or Credit Card. It makes mobile payments quicker and easier than ever before.
To use Apple Pay you will need a Tesco Bank Visa Debit Card, or Credit Card featuring the Mastercard logo. Unfortunately our Visa Credit Cards are excluded.
You will also need an iPhone SE, 6 or later, Apple Watch or iPad with Touch ID. Make sure your device is running the most up-to-date iOS by checking 'Software update' - you'll find this under 'General' in 'Settings'.
To add your Tesco Bank Debit or Credit Card to your iPhone, open the Wallet app and follow the instructions. You'll then receive a one-time passcode from Tesco Bank. You’ll need to use this code within 30 minutes if you have a Debit Card or 3 hours if you have a Credit Card. Once you enter the passcode, you're ready to shop.
Apple Pay is accepted in many places that support contactless payments.
Look out for the Apple Pay or contactless symbols.
You’ll collect your additional points as normal while you’re out shopping.
If you're using Apple Pay in a Tesco store that supports contactless payments, swipe your Clubcard before you pay to collect your standard points as well. Terms apply
You never have to worry about security with Apple Pay. Your Tesco Bank Debit or Credit card number is encrypted and stored safely in a dedicated chip in your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch. The card numbers are not held on your phone, and the Apple servers don’t save them either. It’s completely secure.
If your iPhone or iPad is ever lost or stolen, you can use Find My iPhone to put your device in Lost Mode to suspend Apple Pay, or you can remove Apple Pay from your device completely. Whatever you decide to do, you’ll still be able to use your Tesco Bank Debit or Credit Card as normal while shopping.
