Information on borrowing more for existing loans customers

You're eligible to apply to borrow more after making eight consecutive monthly payments on your existing Tesco Bank Loan.

If you are a Tesco Clubcard customer you can apply for a great low rate of 3.1% APR representative on loans from £10,000 - £25,000 for terms of 5 years or less.

The rate offered may be higher depending on our assessment of your personal circumstances and financial behaviour, as well as the amount you borrow. Subject to status.

Some benefits of borrowing more

  • Fixed monthly repayments on a date of your choosing.
  • The minimum amount you can borrow is £1,000 above your current loan balance, the total borrowing limit is £35,000.

If accepted, your new loan will pay off your existing loan and you will continue to make one monthly payment.

Important information

You’ll be charged up to 28 days’ interest to settle your original loan early. This is to cover the number of days from your formal quote to getting your new loan. This will be added to your new loan and you’ll pay interest on this, which may lead to additional costs.

You’ll pay off your existing loan with the new, larger amount. Your old loan will be closed when the new loan term comes into effect. If you cancel the new loan within the 14-day cooling-off period, you won’t be able to re-instate your old one.

Early settlement fees will apply.

You will be charged up to two months interest if you choose to settle your personal loan from Tesco Bank early.
