Financial Services Compensation Scheme and Money Advice Service

Financial Services Compensation Scheme

Tesco Personal Finance Plc is covered by The Financial Services Compensation Scheme, set up under the Financial Services Act 2012. The FSCS can pay compensation to depositors if a bank is unable to meet its financial obligations.

Your eligible deposits with Tesco Bank are currently protected up to the current Financial Services Compensation Scheme limit, the UK's deposit protection scheme. Investments, Mortgage advice and arranging, Long-term insurance (e.g. life assurance) and General Insurance are also covered by the scheme. Please note that different levels of compensation apply for different products. Any deposits you hold above the current limit are not covered.
