Tesco Health Insurance - No claims discount

When you take out a policy, you automatically qualify for a 35% no claims discount, so you get reduced premiums from the start. Then, for every year you (and everyone covered by the policy) don't make a claim, you get an extra year's no claims discount. This continues up to a maximum no claims discount of 55%.

In any year if anyone who is covered by the policy has one or more claims paid, the no claims discount for the whole policy is reduced by three levels. However, at your renewal, the no claims discount will not be reduced by more than three levels - no matter how many people have made a claim on your policy or how many claims were made in that year.
