Get your FREE easy to use iPhone application that provides guidance and step-by-step help if you need to report an accident or breakdown.
Tesco Bank Mobile Motoring can help steer Tesco Car Insurance customers in the right direction - whether you're feeling stressed after a bump on the road, or you're stranded on the hard shoulder with a car that refuses to move. As well as on the spot tips and step-by-step help following an accident or breakdown, the app can also remind you of key dates for your car - including MOT, service and road tax.
The Tesco Mobile Motoring App is free to download. However, any associated data charges will depend on your tariff with your mobile phone network operator. iPhone is a trademark of Apple Inc.
What does it do?
FREE Mobile Motoring App
To keep you in the driving seat, the Mobile Motoring App for iPhone lets Tesco Car Insurance customers tap into help in an emergency on the road.
The full functionality of the App is available to Tesco Car Insurance customers who bought a policy on or after 16 October 2010 or renewed on or after 12 November 2010. Full terms of use can be found on the application.
Help in the event of an accident
If you're involved in a car accident, it's not always easy to think straight. The Mobile Motoring App gives Tesco Bank Car Insurance customers on-the-spot tips and helps you gather all the key details, step by step. You can call the claims team, or, you can use the App to record and store the information and e-mail the claims team who will call you back within 24 hours.
Tap into a bit of calm in a crisis
Being involved in an accident can be very stressful. If you're not sure what to do, we'll steer you in the right direction with quick tips and guidance.
Step-by-step help
The App will take you through certain info you need to collect - like details of the incident, and other drivers and witnesses. Mobile Motoring can save it all as you go.
It's easy to use
Mobile Motoring provides an easy and convenient way to record and store all the key details, including photos. Then to start your claim - just tap send.
Submit Claims
Once you have sent the details of the incident, a member of the claims team will call you within 24 hours and they'll aim to make sure they get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
Help if your car breaks down

If your car breaks down, with Mobile Motoring help can soon be on its way. As well as useful breakdown tips and assistance, the app pinpoints your exact location using the GPS signal.
Help with important reminders
Using your iPhone calendar, Mobile Motoring will give you timely reminders for your MOT/Service, road tax and car insurance.

Mobile Motoring could help you save on a range of insurances. You can use the app to link to the Tesco Bank website to get quotes and apply for cover.

How do I claim my reward?
- Download a copy of the Recommend a Friend form [PDF, 1.22MB]
- Fill in your own details, ensuring you tick whether you'd like to receive the Gift Card or the Clubcard points
- Remember to fill in your Clubcard number if you choose 1,000 Clubcard points
- Give the completed form to any friend or relative planning to take out Tesco Car Insurance
- Once their Tesco Car Insurance policy is set up, they should complete their details on the form, choose their gift and return it to us. No stamp is required
- You'll both then receive your choice of Gift Card or Clubcard points
- You can recommend Tesco Car Insurance to as many people as you like
Remember, you'll get a £10 Tesco Gift Card or 1,000 Clubcard points for everyone you recommend that takes out a policy and returns a form!
Terms and conditions
1. Offer is available to the recommender and the recommended. 2. The Gift Card will be issued within 6 weeks to the policyholders at the policyholders' addresses only. 3. The Gift Card can only be redeemed in store, online at www.tesco.com or at a Tesco petrol filling station. 4. Tesco Bank will not re-issue Gift Cards that are lost in the post. 5. The 1,000 Clubcard points will be allocated to the next available Clubcard statement. This may not be the next statement that you receive. 6. The Clubcard holder must be the policyholder. 7. Tesco Bank reserves the right to alter, cancel or withdraw the offer without prior notice. 8. If the policy is cancelled within the first 6 months Tesco Bank reserve the right to withhold the Gift Card or points or request a refund of those already issued.
