Registering for Online Banking

To register for Online Banking, follow these steps and you'll be ready to manage your money any time, any place:



• Go to our Online Banking registration page
• Enter your personal details

We'll ask for your:

• Name
• Date of birth
• Postcode
• Account details

Enter your Temporary Security Number

Once you've entered your personal details, we'll send you a Temporary Security Number by text or by post to the mobile number or address you gave us when you set up your account. 

Your Temporary Security Number is valid for 30 days.

Choosing your security credentials

Once you've entered your Temporary Security Number, you'll need to choose your security credentials:

• Username
• Security Number
• Password
• Security questions

You'll be asked to read and accept our Online Banking terms and conditions.


Finally, choose whether to allow Tesco Bank to recognise your device for logging in faster in the future.
