FraudSafe - Your Security, Our Priority

Tesco Bank takes credit card protection very seriously. That's why Tesco Credit Cards come with our protection system, FraudSafe, to help prevent credit card fraud.

  • Tesco Active Monitoring - If there is a suspicion that your card or card details are being used fraudulently, we'll call you as soon as possible
  • Free Overseas Emergency Assistance - Don't panic if your credit card is lost or stolen abroad, we'll replace it ASAP. Receive a cash advance to tide you over
  • Internet guarantee - As with all credit cards, if your card is used unscrupulously on the web you'll not be held liable

Shopping online promises freedom and flexibility. However, your credit card can still have additional protection.

Register for Tesco Secure to protect against unauthorised use when you shop online at participating retailers. It will give you peace of mind that your credit card is in safe hands while making online purchases.

How Tesco Secure works

Using your cards online? Help protect your cards against unauthorised use through Tesco Secure, provided in association with "Verified by Visa" and "MasterCard SecureCode."

  • When you purchase online at participating websites, Tesco Secure issues a receipt at the end of the checkout process
  • The receipt includes details of your current purchase such as site name, purchase amount and date
  • You sign the receipt using your password and click "Submit" to complete the purchase. Without your password, the purchase cannot take place

Because your credit card is protected by your personal password only you can use your card online at participating websites.

What's more, you can use Tesco Secure with any of your existing cards. Safeguard your card.
