Saying Goodbye

What you need to know

Tesco Bank Pet Insurance is arranged, administered and underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc.

vetfone™ is provided by Vetsdirect Ltd.

Conditions covered

All of our cover levels provide cover for accidents, injuries, poisoning and animal attacks.

Our Accident & Injury cover level doesn't provide any cover if your pet needs treatment for an illness, unless the illness develops from an injury your pet suffers while insured under this policy.

All claims are subject to an excess

You'll always know what you'll need to pay for a claim with our fixed excess payments.

Our standard excesses for Accident & Injury, Standard and Extra cover for vet fee claims is £60 for dogs and cats for each illness or accident. Our standard excesses for Premier cover for vet fee claims is £60 for dogs and cats for each illness or accident each year. You can choose to increase your excess level in exchange for a lower premium when you get a quote. For third-party liability claims on property damage, you’ll be required to pay the first £250 of any claim.
