Flexible cover levels with Tesco Health Insurance

Tesco Health Insurance cover starts with Operations & Procedures. You can then choose to add additional options, allowing you to build the health cover which is right for you.

Operations & Procedures covers:

• surgery costs
• the cost of treatment, requiring an overnight or one-day hospital stay
• radiotherapy and chemotherapy
• CT, MRI and PET scans

You can then choose to:

• Add Option 1 or,
• Add Option 2 or,
• Add both Option 1 and Option 2

to build the health insurance that's right for you.

As you'd expect, there are some things that aren't covered including:

• Pre-existing conditions
• Ongoing, recurrent or long-term treatment of long-term illnesses

Tesco Health Insurance is designed to be flexible. You can choose to reduce your monthly premium by adding a 6-week option. This means that you can go private if the NHS can't treat you within 6 weeks from when treatment should take place.

If the NHS can treat you within 6 weeks, you'll go via the NHS.
