You start with a 25% no-claims discount when you join.
If you make a claim for remedial and restorative treatment, or dental accident and emergency treatment, your discount will reduce by two levels at renewal.
If you don't make a claim for these types of treatment, then your no claims discount will increase by one level at renewal.
The no claims discount reduces per person covered on the policy.
You always hope that a trip to your dentist will be straightforward. But here are some examples of what can happen:
You visit your dentist for a routine check-up. You discover that you also require a scale and polish, along with a small filling. This can cost up to £165. With Premium Cover you can claim back 100% of the cost of the check-up (£43) and scale and polish (£45), plus 50% of the cost of the filling (£38.50). So in this example, you would be able to claim back £126.50.

At a routine check-up you are told that you need a filling and a crown. With Core Cover you would be covered for the check-up as well as the treatment and can claim the £204 cost back in full.
