If you find a small chip or crack in your windscreen, get it fixed straight away.
Your car insurance may cover windscreen repairs. A chip or crack less than 10cm long can usually be repaired by an expert. Anything longer than 10cm usually means the windscreen should be replaced.

Repair any chips or cracks as soon as possible as water expands in cold weather and can cause major cracks in your windscreen.
