Take a trip of a lifetime

More people than ever are choosing to travel abroad for their holidays. According to a World Tourism Organisation statistics published in March 2008, international tourist arrivals exceeded 6% growth in 2007 and continued moderated growth is expected for 2008.

If you are planning to travel in the near future, here are ten destinations, each with the potential to provide an experience of a lifetime. They range from the biggest, busiest cities in the world to a temple of peace and tranquility.

Remember, although it's good to always be open to new experiences, always travel safe and be prepared. Always keep your passport and travellers' cheques with you or in a safety deposit box, book your accommodation in advance, always leave your itinerary with someone at home and think about travel insurance.
