Our goal
With your help our aim was to raise £75,000 towards the Tesco Charity of the Year 2012 fundraising target of £10 million for Cancer Research UK. The £76,000 raised helped to:
- Support the funding of over 30 early diagnosis research projects in local communities across the UK.
- Support the awareness campaign that aims to reduce people's anxiety about the disease and encourage them to visit the doctor with any possible concerns. People fear cancer more than any other disease but the earlier cancer is diagnosed, the better the chance of survival.

Total donation raised: £76,000
For every transaction made on ATMs at Tesco stores between 01/03/12 and 28/02/13, 0.0125p was donated by Tesco Bank to Cancer Research UK. Cancer Research operates in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Cancer Research UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (1089464) and in Scotland (SC041666).
