Added protection for Online Banking with our free security software download
Tesco Bank has teamed up with TrustDefender to bring you their latest security software specifically designed to bring you an extra layer of security for your Online Banking.
TrustDefender is available now for all Tesco Bank Savings and Loan accounts, and will be made available soon for Credit Card customers. What's more, it's easy to use and completely free to download.
An added layer of security
Although you may already have anti-virus software on your computer, you could still be at risk of malicious software on your computer. TrustDefender helps to:
- Secure and protect the connection between your computer and Tesco Bank
- Identify and alert you to a wider range of security risks on your computer
- Tell you how to fix any security issues identified
- Confirms you're using the genuine Tesco Bank Online Banking service
How TrustDefender works
- Download TrustDefender using the Download button above
- The next time you visit Tesco Bank Online Banking and visit the Login page, TrustDefender will start to protect your Online Banking session.
The Security Notification Bar will appear at the top of your browser, and this lets you know that TrustDefender is running a check on the security health of your computer.
- If no issues are found, the Security Notification Bar will show as Green and you know your Online Banking session has additional protection.
- If TrustDefender identifies an issue, the Security Notification Bar will show as Amber or Red, and it will expand to show you information.
- You can take action to resolve the issue using the Fix It button. This will take you to TrustDefender website which explains how you can resolve this issue.
